maybe he took a pic of his NEW truck in front of the house of the guy that took the BLUE truck??? hahaha! who knows! Well, I bought my 52 with no paperwork and had it taken care of with no problems....
It's called the "Hey look at me, I wanna belong syndrome". Usually attacks the people not allowed at the 'grown-ups' table.
You ***holes need to relax. Ever think that the blue one was sold and just waiting to be picked up? Ever think that maybe I had just got the Apache home and didn't care about the stickers or the don't touch signs? Ever think that maybe no one has to explain **** to those of you with more than one post and all the so called "Experts" on this site? Sheesh! instead of being screwed by a bad deal and happy that I recoved. I'm getting the 1st degree. (I'll have Steve check the ****** for me while the motor is out) Viva
Just looked funny is all. The truck you got rid of still there and all with no explanation. So many BS artists around here at times. Have fun with the new ride.
Me and my neighbors are happy to see that thing gone. Now they keep asking "When are you gonna sell the van?"
This story started to smell bad when it started in Moreno Valley. And what the hell is the 1st degree? You mean 3rd degree?
Have your GF or another friend call and ask to buy the truck. Make a big deal about being in a state far away and ask if he'll ship the truck and tell him you'll send him a $1,500 deposit to hold it until you call him back with info about your shipper who's going to come pick it up. Ask him where to send the deposit. If he gives a PO Box tell him you need a real physical address because you're going to ship it overnight UPS and HE needs to sign for the check. Go borrow a brown uniform, doesn't need to say UPS, just needs to look like UPS. You could also maybe get UPS involved if the police are involved. When he signs for it, he's nabbed and you can get your money back.... That was off the top of my head, but THAT is how I would handle it. If he doesn't answer it's because he knows it's you. Use another number and act interested in it....maybe throw in some bS about how it reminds you of your dads C10...get him to buy your story, or whoever it is you have call. Heck, I'll do it...
So? Did you sell your ***le less truck to some other guy? Are we gonna see another I think I got screwed thread form another HAMB er? Just kinda wondering how you got rid of it.
Viva, ever look in the mirror and ask yourself who is the poser douchebag staring at you? Lets remember who walked in the room with his ******* all in a wad crying about his screwed up deal. Glad you pulled a rabbit out of your ***. btw - nice name drop with Limeworks adds legitimacy to your story
Wow.. just... Wow.. I never saw anywhere that said he returned the blue truck to the seller. It wasn't stolen.. As someone mentioned... The D.M.V. would have ******ed his *** up when they ran the V.I.N. Glad you came out O.K. on the deal.. Red truck looks sweet.. I would have not been afraid of the paperwork on the blue one. All it would be is some leg work.. I got my fingers crossed on the m-22 for ya!
Some with good advise, some with bad.....did it for a long long time and you will not go wrong by initiating a police report as a "VICTIM" especially if the police in your area have an auto unit. Come on...you don't need a damn lawyer to notify the police that you suspect you may have been scammed unlss of course you feel like paying the puke (lawyer) a few hundred bucks for nothing!!! In any event, just put in on record and you will be covered.
DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no paperwork, accept no promises.NEVER FORK OVER $$$ without getting what you want and need.
**** the "do not touch" signs. If the car is in THAT cl***, don't enter it in a show where the general public is allowed in and put a barrier around it.
Been through this before a couple times on this forum. Some of these guys are the high-jumpers of conclusions and eat their young. And of course when you know you made a mistake, they keep reminding you rather than offer real-time advice! But the truly helpful ones make up for it I guess. Glad it worked out for you.
What is "THAT cl***"? Do you mean Trailer Queen Show Cars? Lots of us have drivers that we spend alot of elbow grease cleaning up. We don't want people pawing at our cars. I once stopped a woman from CLIMBING UP ON MY FENDER because her friend wanted to take her picture.
The 1st degree is when your getting **** from people you really don't worry about. I reserve 3rd degree status for when there is a possibility of going to jail. The guy I sold the truck to was fully aware that there was no paperwork on it. He gave me the "I got a friend at the DMV" line. So it was a guilt free transaction. As much time as I spend here and see how much you can get grilled for a post I still let some of you *******s get under my skin
