Welcome Mike I agree there is something about a car on the ragged edge, that gives me a fever. I have had some slick cars but I always had more fun with the in progress cars. hang in there.

See, mike, i'm into squirrel rods myself. Especially the flying kind. Really any "rodent" rod is cool in my book. Right.

It's a good movie. John Goodman, Jeff Bridges. Hang loose RatRodMike, like small town's there are 'click's'. Death Rod, Rat Rod, Show Rod, Street Rod, Hot Rod, Shot Rod.......

  19. Make up your mind....."RatRod"Mike or "crazy"? Which is it? I think "crazy" might get you more respect....

BTW, where is this "rat rodzzzz" board that must be sending these guys this way? Maybe I'm not reading the right catalogues.......

Now you're talking - We've hashed this around quite a bit, with no definitive answer. Just how long has the term been around? What IS a rat rod? Thanks for your input.

heres the way it works, i was raised in a racing family,,, so i love and appreciate all race cars and rods.. but i happen to favor ratrods... i notice the car on the top header of the screen looks alot like what i would consider a rat rod.

    I like field cars!!:D

  29. Do you have any immediate plans to put together a "rat rod" as you call it, in future?

I'm thinking you haven't had enough time to start reading the posts of others to learn a little bit more about the culture 'round here.

You'll get more from reading than posting... and you definitely need more.
