"other" online resources? tcpglobal.com , etc. What kind of experiences have you had?

I'm goin to at least paint my engine compartment, door jambs, and trunk myself. If it all goes well, I might try painting the whole car with Pop's help ( he's painted a few Semi trucks and they came out nice ).

Any advice is appreciated. i just found the autobodystore.com link on another thread, so I'm going to check it out.

    Thanks

Not trying to bash the website you mentioned, but, my vote is to find a local paint jobber near you that can furnish "support" in addition to materials. Once you put shipping costs into the equation, in my opinion, there's no reason to buy paint on line. It's hard to put a price on customer service, and you can't get the same service from a web vendor.

Unless you're looking for a super rare brand (????) I see no reason to venture outside of your local market. JMO Stu

i disagree. if u buy from coastairbrush.com u can get all the advice and back up u need.

most jobbers dont know shit. most dont know how to paint or barely do. and only know how to sell. its like a car dealership. u buy from the salesman, but its the mechanics that really know about the car.
