Well your pleas and prayers have been answered!

Come join The Hell City Saints C.C. for their First Annual "Blessing of the Rods" Hot Rod and Kustom Car Show sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon and Jack Daniels! Bring your love for hot rods and your p***ion for all things kustom kulture and help support what we hope will be the beginning of a long standing tradition in AZ car shows. Please note that this show is open to all Pre-1965 Hot Rods and Kustoms. The Saints appreciate all cars from all eras, but space is limited and we will only be admitting American cars made before 1965. This is an all ages show until 10PM so feel free to share your love of events like this with the whole family.

All members of the sponsoring club, The Hell City Saints, are ordained ministers. In addition to blessing the rods & kustoms in attendance, we are offering $5 weddings. So bring your best gal (or guy) and a wedding license and we can legally marry you! Novelty weddings (without a license) also performed!!!

a group does something like that here at the bald knob cross in Southern Illinois, the blessing of the bikes. Draws a huge crowd! This looks like it could be a great event!

Ok, I can dig someone getting something going here in Az. What's the criteria? I am so tired of seeing ****rods at Az events. Are you setting any standards? Are ratrods going to be the order of the day? Is this going to be a hotrod event or a lifestyle scene. I need more details. Just asking. Your website is lacking any real details.

 

I'm curious about this too... the details givin out so far just scream high cuffs, orca-betties, and kustom haircuts.

This is not "lifestyle scene." We have an area for about 80 cars that are pre-65. That area will have a fenced around the parking, so that people could hang look and talk cars, and drink beer. Other types of cars are welcome. We are trying get a traditional show started. There will be bands inside the bar; outside parking is free, $10 to get in the bar to see bands. We want to make this a fun good time show. We are giving away dash plaques for blessing of the cars. The web site is still on going, but there is a flyer. Let me know what else you guys need, and hope to see you there. Success of a car show is dependent on cool cars. Bring your's down and have fun!

Also we are trying to get the Von Dutch bus out for the event and couple guys with salt cars and some old timers with FED's. We did not set any criteria this year we want it to work itself out.

This is just crazy. Someone goes to the trouble of putting on this free cool car show, giving away t shirts and some guys are worried about what type of cars, people and lifestyles will show up.
Use some common reasoning.
Let's see, they are called the Hell City Saints and are having it at a pub.They are advertising PBR, Jack Daniels specials. It doesn't sound like a 57 Tbird type show to me. But who cares if one shows up. I hope everyone shows up.
