Do not think there is much of a chance of it showing up my way, but I will keep an eye out for it anyway.

Really sucks hearing more and more of these.

Live in Queens, work in the Bronx and my shop is on Long Island. I'll keep my eye out everywhere. I know some people in NYPD Auto Crimes. PM me pertinent info and I'll see who I can pass it on to. Let me know if you need some help riding around looking for it. Best of luck.

Shit Ed! This is the first I am reading or hearing of this. I will keep my eyes and ears open! This really sucks and also bugs me the fuck out!

  9. I ran through the local Craigslist for parts & cars from LI, NYC and Westchester, nada.

Amazing the neighbors saw nothin' as well, like when my house and garage got robbed back in 2002.

You should post a laundry list of parts and some pictures as well. I'm sure that a car as unique as that would be parted out and not sold as whole. Scary thought, I know.

So is this post for real and nobody's noticed yet? It's the same car... That or a very good clone right down to the plate.

Maybe another "friend" borrowed it to roll to a show without asking?

Let's see the HAMB prevail on this one guys. That car is too unique to just get lost. I know NYC is huge, but it's got to turn up.

    Ed,
I just heard about this today, This really sucks.

After spending 3 days parked beside you at the Detroit Autorama I know what the car means to you. I busted my ass to get you that Gene Winfield autograph on the dash.

I'll keep my eyes and ears open here in W. PA.

I hope everything works out very satisfactory very soon.

God bless the person or persons who did this when you do find them.

    Hang tough.

    Jim

we have to figure out how they knew you where going away ed or maybe those people showing too much interest in the car at the show followed you home any neighbors have cameras on the house that might have caught it going by on a roll back man my heart aches thinking about it
how did they get into the garage? was it forced open
i have a similar story 8 yrs ago with a car not hamb friendly i left it at a friends house and told him il flat bed it in two weeks well a week before i showed up a flatbed came and took it my buddy thinking its me didnt even blink
luckly his little daughter read the word star on the dooor it was the only 4 letters she could understand so after driving around all day to every shop with start in the name i found it behind the fence back glass smashed with the system ripped out door smashed in cause they where shaved doors no way to open from outside needless to say me and the boys stole it back and i know in the morning they didn't like what happened to their three tow trucks so details i will not share so i don't incriminate myself they lucky i didn't knock down the building

  23. looks like they followed me to nobody has cameras . yeah looks like they had there way figured out sucks no news yet

If you haven't already sent a stolen car note with info and photos to www.hotrodhotline.com I would do so soon. Their email every week goes out to probably more car people than anything and hits a bigger variety of car people.

Posted pics of the T on the front page of Singlefinger & a couple of other websites.

Hoping that enlisting more eyes will help move the needle here!

  27. Not too hard to trace a car to where it lives through the plate number.

Very true, Over here on the other side of the Hudson, any time a plate gets run there is a record of who asked for and got the info. And they need a reson to justify it to their supervisor.

It's not as simple as it used to be, Is it like this in NY, too?

  30. Its like that here in ny too. They have to have a reason to run a plate number. Got off the phone with the police said there doing what they can.
I just got flyers and will be going around to a few shows this weekend thanks for all my true friends. And everybodys help
