I need to re-install some threaded studs that came out of the head when I removed the exhaust manifold.
What is the best way to install? Should I use a thread locker such as loc***e. I was thinking the red hi strength. Any other ideas?
    Thanks.

Red loc***e should work fine. You could also stake them in if you wanted. Heat the metal around the stud with a brazing tip then take a good center punch and put stake right next to the stud. This will mushroom some of the metal in and casue the stud to be pinched. This will however make removal alittle more dificult.

I would'nt use any loc***e, just clean the threads and put them back in.You may need to remove them some time down the road.

Use double nuts, vise grips, or a stud wrench to tighten them as tight as you would tighten a bolt of that size.

I agree with the above, unless you want them to be non removable. And studs usually never back out because they have contest press on them from what ever is bolted to them.
