I was just watching American Pickers, they were at some guy named Dannys farm ... and the camera flew by what appeared to be a 32 ford! The grill was pretty clear to see... did anyone else see it?

I saw it a couple times, I thought it was at first but wasn't sure after seeing it again. Either way I'm sure that guy knows exactly what it's worth, based on everything else he was selling. Have to watch it on demand or see if the DVR picked it up.

I don't think those guys know much about the value of old cars, but if you contact them about a 32 ford then they will know.

They were smart enough to put a 32 grill shell on e-bay last week.

Saw it along with what I thought was a early '30's Plymouth. Maybe we are all better of if they do pass over the HAMB friendly vehicles.

DVR'd it and checked a couple times, if it's the same car I was looking at I don't think it was a deuce. Look close at the front fenders if you get a chance. Anyway it was a cool car.

Nobody knows the whole story. The owner might have told them don't even ask about the cars. They really are not car guys, but they know there shit about bikes. I'm alot like them, I'll walk by stuff I know nothing about too. Hell the places I've been through I could have walked right by some lamp or toaster worth a few bills, but do you think I care?

I've tried to contact them on another car. They don't like to share info very much...

I am glad you got the image. I thought it was a 32 and kept looking but they only had the camera on it the one quick time. The owner was savvy about his junk. I doubt anyone will be bragging about the deal they got on it.

Looks like a 1931 or 1932 Chevrolet Cabriolet with a '32 Ford shell. [IMG]

I wonder if there were two different cars in the show? I think I saw both a '32 Ford grille and a Plymouth grille. Didn't notice the front door handle when I first looked at the photo, that ruels out a 31-32 Chevy. :)

    No headlight bar.
No headlight bar, and a swing-out windshield.
And the leading edge of the front fenders comes pretty low.

That will either be a clue to people who know more than me (which is 99 percent of the world when it comes to pre-war stuff), or it could indicate something someone rodded back in the day.
how many cars of the era came with radios?

I rewound a paused a couple of times, man the DVR is great!

It drives me crazy seeing all those cars just buried and they walk right by them.

In one of the scenes I think they were checking out a updraft carb hanging from teh rafters.

I amazes me how anyone can a mass that much stuff.

1934 Plymouth has much different hood sides.

it's not a deuce!!! later on there's a pic of the grill.. crap look at all the cues. hood runs up to the windshield, headlights and mounts, door tops, folding windshield stansions.... that's from the little bit I looked at it when my pop yelled 32 cabriolet across the room!!!
