Hot Rod Girl

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Special Sam, Oct 12, 2010.

  1. Anybody order anything from (hotrodgirl.com) recently? I placed an order 9/15/10, received confirmation e-mail 9/16/10 and never received my purchase. Replyed to their e-mail 10/03/10 and never received a response. They never dinged my debit card but they still have my information. I was just wandering if anybody knew anything about the company.

A lot of online companies will take an order even if it is out of stock and won't bother to tell you it's on 'back order'. I detest the practice and would put a stop payment on that transaction. That will get their attention.

In the past year I have made it a point to add a note to my order, (most online companies do have that function), and state that if the item isn't available for immediate shipment, to notify me before they finalize the order.

  3. That could very well be the answer.

Glad you got it, but that seems like an extended transaction. Did they give you an explanation?

  9. No reason given. Receipt had handwritten note, "Thank you, Elizabeth". Nothing else.

Any of you remember the days that stuff routinely took 6-8 weeks to show up?
