Anybody know if theres an intake adapter plate made for a 54/55 cadillac 331cu to fit a newer holley carb?

    Thanks Rick

Sure, I see them all over the place at swap meets. You can usually pick one up for $5.

As a point of interest, you might try a simple test.

Put the worn-out Rochester on and run three 0-60 runs and get an average. Now run through a tank of fuel to see how far you go. Write down the results.

After installing the adapter and the Holley, repeat both the 0-60 and the tank of fuel runs; and compare your results to the worn-out Rochester. You just might be in for a surprise!

Watch ebay for 4-hole adapter plates. Nothing there today but I have bought many for about $15.
The biggest concern is to not have a giant bore mismatch. If your manifold is off the engine you might have the throttle bore walls sonic checked to see if there is an opportunity to bore them out a bit to try and match the Holley pattern.

well i recently bought this 54 coupe....it runs with the stock carter carb. i just thought maybe when i rebuild the engine maybe a 4bbl holley can make it perform better. but then i notice the holley is wider then the stock one. so i thought their should be adapter somewhere out their.
