Late 60's early 70's Chevy's with your description will work. Like 69 Chevelle, Nova, Camaro with all drum power brakes.

You really need to check to get the right diameter for each seperate installation as they are different.

I used a dualport M/C and power booster from Pirate Jacks for my Caddy with drums all around. Really good customer service.

Thats why its so hard. General rule 1" bore for manual brakes and 1 1/8" bore for power brakes.

Perhaps something was lost in translation, or its a metric thing. But by the 60s, the automakers all settled on 1" manual or 1 1/8" power master cylinders. Then the cars got smaller and all the rules changed. But for what we do, this is a good start.

Yup, the smaller bore gives more line pressure but less volume.

I could post up the math on the hydraulic principles involved but it's morning and I have to go to work.

Try google if you need more info. I found some really good stuff on a couple of the aftermarket brake company websites.
