Projects Whitewalls on this car or Black?

the car looks great either way, but I vote blackwalls!

 

I think I'd start saving for some whitewalls, skirts, and something to lower it with. The blackwalls are fine for cruising, but c'mon....

Looks better to me with whitewalls, hands down. Ive' also deferred to blackwalls on occasion due to the cost, or if I had some blackwalls that needed to be worn out. I never have laid aside good tires in favor of buying something merely for 'look'.

Depends on whether you want it to be period correct or not. That car more likely than not came from the showroom with whitewalls. When somebody customized it, nosed and decked it in the sixtys, they probably opted for whitewalls. Anybody that didn't was just trying to be different.

 

Keep the tires TALL, and SKINNY.

 

The White Walls just complete the car and the skirts in the back just really make it look clean! Goodluck on saving for them and be sure to post a pic when you finally get them!

wide whites and lower in the back with skirts is a great look on that car.

picture doing the same thing but with blackwalls-would look cl***y and tough! i would ditch the chrome rings and do that. either way-bias plys on that car please!

Diamondback makes a nice 3" wide white radial in a 215 75 15. They'll be at your doorstep in 3-4weeks. Until then, do all the moonshine runs you can with them blackwalls
