    Excellent info indeed, it helped me ID a hemi bellhousing, a SG-585. Little Wing, or anyone else for that matter have any info on this one as far as clutch fork and ball, starter etc as I didn't get any parts or info other than the housing itself.

    Dumb question - Was speed gems out of Mineapolis / St. Paul MN. area? I can't remember. Edit Really dumb question! I just blew up the catalog page and yes, it was.

    What A great sight! You answered my question. I am putting a OLds 303 in my 49 Chevy and the motor came with a Speed Gem adapter and it would not mate to the GM Trany. I now know from your PDF that is is the adapter to a Clark 5 Speed. If anyone is interested in it I will not be using it. It looks like it has never been used.
