    Hi all...1st post here.
Love looking at the pics of the old modifieds. I'm not sure if this link has been posted before, but this club has been around for years running steel bodied coupes...

onto Eddie Flemke in the #34....if I understand the history correctly, the #34 was the original Bob Judkins #2x that Frank Vigliarollo bought the next year and renumbered and repainted it the #34. Eddie Flemke was the hired gun to drive it. Frank may have drove it himself a couple of times and I saw pictures with Geoff Bodine in the car as well....

Is this is how they added left side weight ? Look at the nerf bar in front of the rear tire.

I know. But that's nuts. I know the Supers used to put an extra fuel cell right next to the driver for the Oswego International Cl***ic.

Eddie late in his career driving the X3 he built for the Ferrante's. I believe this is at the ROC at the Pocono 3/4 mile track

Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed the posts. I believe that concludes the Flemke reposts. Unfortunately, my need to organize and clean-up my photobucket files has caused some of my other posts to disappear. I will repost the Fred Harbach and Brunnhoelzl pics when I get a chance.

But I'm sure that you're aware that the fuel tank wasn't just for "left side" weight, it was in an attempt to make the 200 laps w/o having to either re-fuel, or having to re-fuel only once...

07Son, From your handle (07Son) I'm guessing your Paul Radford's son, if so I raced with your Dad a few times. How is he these days? Also "stadium" is that Bowmen Gray? Denny Z

Actually I am Speedy Thomas' son who owned the 07 that was driven by Paul Radford and many others. I did see Paul last year at Franklin County Speedway and he looks the same as always. And yes, it is Bowman Gray where I spent way to many nites as a kid.

I am looking at purchasing a vintage modified that runs near Albany NY, it goes by the number U2 and has a vega wagon body. Could any of you fine HAMBer's lead me to pics of this car, and for that matter any other Vega wagon bodied mods from days gone by?
