Got some pretty peices of billet that go on my Salt Flat Specials. I was thinking to myself "Self, how can I really screw these up and make 'em cool." Self Answered Self "Drill them full of holes, Jackass!!" So, that's what I did. Since I'm pretty computer unliterate, Jdubbya is gonna hook us up with some pics. Here we go, whadya think?

  8. Looks goood! I have liked those wheels since they came out and secretly hoped they would not "catch on". Great job making them yours.

  11. Pretty cool, i just know some body's going to get pissy about billet though.

  12. I did a similar thing except I left the center un-capped. A sprint car axle doesn't have capped ends....it's open like mine.

I've also got 3-bar knockoffs on my wheels. They were designed to be retained with a set screw, but the screw was doing more harm than good. So, I disposed of the screws and drilled the 3-bar knockoffs for safety wire. I get lots of comments and questions about it now, but the look is killer.
