Does anyone out there have any experience or advice as to how to remove the drain channel from the rear window? It looked like the drain channel and rear panel would simply slip down off the window channel if the 4 screws in the rumble seat area were removed as well as the single screw/flat washer below the rear window (center) on the inside of the car, but having removed these, the channel still appears to be firmly attached to the window channel somehow. I don't know if it has simply "rusted" in place or is spot welded to the window channel. Does anyone know how to get this out?

That rain channel is welded to, or part of, the lower rear window area.

Try a saw, grinder, plasma cutter or...

    Good Luck

OK, I had about come to that decision....tried everything I knew to get it to "move" somewhere and it just doesn't budge. Someone on another forum says it is spot welded in three places, each side to the window channel.
