hey im in a picture! haha had a great time at the rod run hangin out with pontiac slim and the coupe! first time riding in a chopped coupe and now im addicted, the ol blister was by far my favorite hot rod there. it was really great getting to know some of the local hot rodders. it was alot different when i was with a respected member of the community behind my back than if i were to go by myself. a few great people set aside, ive talked to a lot before and it felt like i was kind of shooed away like a pest. feels better when youre not looked at as a snot nosed kid haha. thanks again slim! that was the best weekend ive had all year and i look forward to going to many more runs with ya! we'll have to cruise in the ol truck when shes poncho powered XD
Hey.. thanks, and glad that youz had a good time with us over the hill speed farts! It is nice to see the younger folks enjoy'n the sport. Its too bad that in a lot of cases the older guys do look down on the younger crowd... however some day they will be the future of the sport but on the other hand a lot of the youth today come across as know it alls and cannot be quiet.. You carried yourself well and you fit in well.. I remember the days when people wouldn't give me the time of day when I ask about their car... however the folks that did answer and did talk to me are the ones I recall the most.... It was 1960... a 31 chopped Chev coupe with a 401 Buick..Bob Hood was the guy.. Got me all fired up....and the dream to have a hot rod began. I hope you folks read'n this caught on as to what porter 90 was try'n to convey... Pontiac Slim
