I'm looking for something to clean up the center of my factory chrome reversed steel Chevy truck wheels (six lugs). I spoke with wheel kid about some of his bullets and he doesn't have any to fit. The only ones I can find local are the sqaured off 4x4 type.

Anybody have a source for chrome bullets for six lug factory chevy wheel centers?

Truck pic just because I love it so much, lol...

Raul has them for $8 each and cheap shipping. They're polished aluminum. Thanks for the tip guys! I appreciate it!

All I saw on the site was lugnuts and adapters. So I just called him up. He was super helpful and the price is right.

    Just in case somebody is searching, 5 x 5 is 3.125 id and 5 x 4 3/4 is 2.95 id.
Both of these will require a fair amount of grinding, but work very well.

I buy mine from Rally America, cheap and quick shippimg.

Tell me about the grinding? Is this a good idea?

I have my 2.95's in hand and yep they won't go into the hole in the rally wheel :(

I've done a couple of sets over the years. Basically, I'll use a die grinder and a carbide bit and take a little at a time. When you install them on the car take it slow and use the lug nuts to line them up with the studs. On the last set I did the inside lip ended up being very thin, but I haven't had any problems.

Why don't they fit? Does anybody make some that fit w/out grinding?

I'm just not real excited about grinding the wheel...

What are the actual diameters you guys are after?
I 've got them various sizes up to 4 1/4" in either aluminum or chromed steel.

I will measure today...the 2.95 bullets are a fuzz too big, so it will me a bit smaller than that.
