Just wondering who's going to the tampa nsra show..it has been fun for the last few years, looking forward to going...i'll be hanging out with the rest of the poor boys come by and say hi.... dave
I'll be coming from Ft.Lauderdale Leaving at 6:00am Fri morning Prompt. Anyone wants to tag along contact me. Going up the Turnpike to YeeHaw then Hwy 60 West.
bump for the night crowd......i hope the swap meet is good this year..i got some killer parts last year
Weather was fine. Lots of interesting cars... except the orange, quasi-Donker Impala that just had me throwing up each time I saw it. Car count was down this year to around 1400 +/- 20 or so. Go figure. Can't blame the weather so the economy is all we got. I still have a ways to go on the 27, but at least it was presentable with a fully covered interior and most folks seemed to like it. I hope to have it done by the new year. Having surgery ****s. Gary PS.. stayed tuned for a new "event" on the Saturday eve of this show weekend next year. I'll be helping to bring it to ya and it should rock.
I thought maybe the quan***y of cars was down..But the quality of the cars, trucks & rods was way up from years past... Not so many so-so vehicles this time...Plus a lot more 4-Sale signs... Swap Meet area even had some good bargains...Should have dragged that 30 Chevy Coupe home..
I'll be there, but my '55 Chevy, 2nd series, 3100 Pickup is not ready. SBC 302 engine & 700R4 Trans are ***embled but are in the garage, Wiring in my bedroom, Spark Plugs in the store, Radiator in the mail, Dash parts in my home office, etc. etc. Best laid plans are of Mice and Murphy (me) Question for fast Rodders. If light, at 186,00 miles per second, is the fastest thing possible; how can Einstein's E=MC2 (Energy = M*** times the Speed of Light squared be? How can anyone SQUARE the fastest thing there is?? That's 34,596,000,000 miles per second = faster than a Chevrolet. I think ole Al was smokin' those funny little cigarettes.
