I pre-ordered this from Amazon and just received an email stating that shipment was delayed. Anyone have any info concerning release date?

I ordered my copy from Amazon too.I'm not to worried about it.When I talked to Pat Ganahl awhile ago he told me it would be more like October.I just an e-mail from Amazon and it said the book is not available yet and I can cancel my order or keep it on until 10-23-2010.I checked Cartech's website that publishes the book and they are not available with them yet.

I'm not the least bit worried about receiving the book, heck they don't charge you till it ships. Just getting anxious to read another great Ganahl masterpiece.
I also pre-ordered "Deuce" from TRJ but I don't expect that until next Spring. The only thing I'm sure of is that both books will be worth waiting for.

Good to hear that Pat Ganahl is still writing...I always enjoyed his style. I actually hadn't seen anything from him since Rod&Custom...what else has he given us in recent years that I've missed? Maybe I should do a search here. Last I remember, he was fixin' up a green '52 Chevy 2-door sedan...he had gotten the interior done in white pearl tuck and roll with green piping. That was quite a few years ago. Is this new book gonna be about hot rods that are "no longer with us"? That'll be interesting.

I sat by Pat at the Showcase of Customs lunch last weekend and he said the books were done, shipped and stuck in line at US Customs. Sounds like it will be any time now that the book hits the streets.

Got to show it to Frank Morawski standing about 10 feet from Curly's Merc as shown in the book. Just way too cool for words.
