Man how you get to all these places I will never understand - but as always great pics!! Thanks for sharing.
Got any info on the Cadillac convert? Who owns it...looks like it was sectioned...and more pix? Thanx, R-
Jeeze don't you ever work????? Nice coverage, those guy's don't know what they p***ed up. Do ya hear me Kirk ???????????? Who owns that blue fastback, AWSOME. BB
Bob, thanks for the kind words... you should be talking about working...Ya I work, but try to arrange my business trips around shows. I usually have a week or two slide when I schedule them.. I made this one, but missed GNRS... I just wished I had an excuse to get up your way (during the summer)
Thanks for sharing the pictures;there was some really fine cars there! I was glad to see John Hall's new car finally(#51-55 I think). All I had seen up to now were sketches. I just talked with Mark Kirby today about another matter and he said that unfortunately the car won't be back to Michigan in time for the Detroit Autorama as they still have a couple of shows to do in the Northwest. I guess the car was a big hit with all the players out there. That early 60's T-Bird with the Starliner roof really tripped my trigger.
that 55 chevy I think is from Austrilia and has a P51 motor in it. there was a web site at one time that showed the build up of it. Anyone know any more about it.
Cool pictures man. Thanks for sharing... A little sidenote: I think I have a couple pictures of that little fastback " the Taunus" (??) racing at Woodburn, Or. It as at the hot rod nationals, or whatever they call it, a couple of years ago. It does some crazy-*** wheelies... And for some reason, I think it might have a 4 cyl in it- with sidedrafts. Anyways, wouldn't have expected to see that thing at an indoor car show- kind of a cool surprise.
Damn fine pictures, Boones! Thanks for sharing those. I never woulda thought this would make such a great mild custom, This does it for me. Joel
