Does any know if ISCA bought the three new shows added to their show list or are they just going to be the sanctioning body and judge? One show being the Los Angeles based "Americas Most Beautiful Roadster" show, owned by John Buck.
They do not own the Shows, they are simply sanctioning them, there for Judging the GNRS and Sacramento Autorama! and by making them a "AA" L1 show you will get alot of the touring cars! as you need to attend so many "AA" and "A" show to get your points at the end of the season. And these shows will judged and cl***ified as per the 2011 ISCA Rules Book.
Hi John, John, and Scott good to see you guys are still out there. All is well at Rod Shows. We have been given a great opportunity to join up with the ISA and thier National level of judging that both longstanding and historic California shows deserve. The rules and regulations will not change at all as we were "Borrowing their rulebook for many years. This just makes the opportunity for those cars and fans from the mid west and east coast to be able to join us and get the recognition and the points they need to compete for the $75,000 purse at the end of the year. You can find more info on the ISCA website. The great news about the change is that the AMBR will not be soley judges on a standrd judges sheet points system. We are working on a fair and balanced way of crowing a roadster Beautiful without sacrificing the technical aspects of the build. Bottom line is that you will be seeing some greta changes in 2011 - 2012 that we will get to John S. in the crusing news and other publications as soon as I can talk about it. Give me a call anytime to discuss if you have any other questions. 877-763-7469. All the best! John Buck
