BBC injection question

I was planning on a 6/71 to help my 454 breathe, but I am having second thoughts.

I am really liking the mech injection look. Efi is not affordable at this time.

My question is: Is mech inj streetable for short trips. I have heard that it is with the right pill and an electric pump before the inj pump. Does any one run this setup.

I am also courious about 3x2 or 4x2 carbs. Where do I get intakes and what carbs?

You need to find the Feb 2005 Rodders Digest. They have an article about runnig a Hilborn mechanical on the street. A very good article.
