Went steel in the rear and Fenton Gyros in the front, going to go larger on the tires front and rear. The car has a RB 440 in it and I need all of the tire I can get front and rear.

Nice look, and nice car. I have narrow torque thrusts on the front of my Galaxie with wide steel wheels out back. Always liked that look!

Headers are home built and need replaced, going to a wheel well header. It really is a tight fit.

I'm building a '66, with black steelies on the rear and torque thrusts on the front coincidentally. Any clearance issues at the trans tunnel area? I'm still torn between a big-block and a small block.

No clearance issues at the tunnel but this was a V8 car not a 6 dont know if that matters or not.

Fenton Wheels came from Godzilla g***er here on the board.

Those mixed matched wheels look good on Darts .Mine has painted steelies out back and 3.5 Cragers on front .I wanted slots for the front ,but i could find any reasonable .I dig the look of your whole car (paint color and all)...

Thanks man, I like yours also I have seen it around. I like the 5 spokes but wound up with the slots . I could have gone either way, when it comes to old wheels for these it gets pricey.

Planning on it I need to at least finish the thing, I am going to do an A990 interior in Red of course. Are you still working on the stretched Dart of yours?

Well, I still have my stretched Dart. Working on it, not so much. Business has kept me too busy, and I've got it stashed in my ba*****t garage, which has no room to work on anything. Hopefully this next year will see it complete. (I've been saying that for a couple of years!)

Business keeping you to busy is a good problem to have, look forward to seeing more of that one.

It does have SS springs on it. Aligned it Saturday and goes down the road 100% better than before.

Looks good man. My sister had the same year. I broke 5 wheel studs on that car replacing a wheel because of the damn LH threads (I thought they were frozen & I had more muscle than brains - GM guy)

Before you get more tires i think i would get more brakes. Single master cyclinder????? I'm also a 65 Dart convertable owner. Get some 73 A bodie disc brakes on the front, cheap insurance.SWEET CAR
