Anyone been to Desert Valley? Pops wants to go there real bad, will it be a disappointment? If anyone knows of any good yards in the general vicinity of northern california/bay area it would be much appreciated if you let me know.

Any of you Texas guys spot any '61 Buicks in them yards? A friend of mine needs a right front fender, bumper, grille, hood, headlight trim, and maybe core support. His brakes went out and he hit the side of the store he was stopping at, the wall didn't give!

Every time I go by there the gate is shut so I never bothered to stop. Not far away on 64 is another old guy who has several parked out by the road for sale. No prewar stuff as a rule, but occasionally something cool like a gl***top 54 or something. He is usually overpriced though.

  24. TxRat, I've been eyeballing that green pick-em-up for the past 2 years!

Sitting right next to the highway on 123...I was very tempted to stop in & "ask", but I figured I'd get the typical answer... "You wanna do WHAT with it?"

I saw a mess of cadillacs in there. any chance you have some stainless or chrome in good shape off a 53. Some hub caps would be nice as well.

I know a guy out here that has the same type collection everything from 30's to late 80's. You really cant see the fornt of his house because of all the chevyies parked out front. I guess the back of his house is way worse, just lines with cars and parked anyway they could to just fit them in there. Course the old guy is never home when I go over.

Texas is full of old cars and trucks. I just picked this one up in Belton. Needs quite a bit of work, but well worth it
