I got a 31 ford fordor sedan and I want to sit down in the weeds. Im wondering what rear end fits for me to do that. i.e. what cars are they out of or just a general width to look for.
i am also doing a 31, i built the frame alredy and i used a 2000 explorer rear end as it gave me disc brakes on the rear as i am running a mustang ii on the front, i channeled the body 6.5 in the front and 5.5 n the rear. built the floors and have mini tubs and i am running 12 wide g***er style wheels look real kool, if u put the wheels outside the tubs to weed it u cannot open the back door, therfore u might as well do a 2 dr. these cars have the same wheel base as the 2 door, 103in wheel base. any good luck keep up the good work and keep the rubber down[/IMG]
