I just bought a 1954 chevy Bel air. It alredy has a V8, 350, four barrel, duel exhaust, cherrybombs.Turbo 350 trans, open rear. 11in drums brakes. Tuck and roll interior . extra teeth in the grill 11 total. I want to slam it in the ground. but still have a comfort ride. I want to chop the top. (anybody in Maryland do that?),get rid of the weld wheels.

Hey Maroi !! that Chevy is a real nice start, It is pretty much at the stage I would like to find one in.So aside from the wheels and the top chopping it's about as nice as one could want. There are countless people on this site that can give you all the information you may need. Welcome aboard from an old Canadian hot rodder. Good luck with that sweetheart of a Chevy. Bud
Where in MD? I can't offer to do the chop for you, but I may be willing to do it with you. If we time it right, I can make room in the shop here. I'm about 20 miles east of Annapolis.
Nice to see you and welcome from the West Coast of Florida. Plenty of great information and tips on how to do just about anything here. Just remember in life people get the right answers to the wrong questions most of the time. See Ya... Jimbo
