Anybody know if anyone reproduces old ford or dodge milk truck wheels? I keep seeing them on model As but cant find them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
To my knowledge, no one is reproducing them. And I think what you're referring to are actually "high clearance" wheels and really have little to nothing to do with milk trucks.
, i havent seen anyone repoping them , they usally are off a dodge high clearence or mountain truck or utulity , and the divco milk trucks good luck there spendy
They come up every now and then on the HAMB classifieds. If I remember right, there was somebody that either did a limited production run of repops or was going to. But hang on to your wallet, cause you and I aren't the only ones that think they're cool. -Mitch
Severall threads here covering them in great detail. I think there is a company making repops cast from aluminum but i don't remember their name. One of the threads has a pic of one and who makes them.
Here's the link to the aluminum versions. Not too much info though. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=392789&highlight=divco+wheels
I have 3 of the Chevy pattern ones I'll sell for $600 if anyone's interested. Apparently they're really rare.
I think wheel kid did a post on some new wheels. kinda a cross between a general jumbo and a milk truck wheel. For sale now i think
I sold some to Paul/Poverty Flats a couple of years ago @ the KC Swapmeet, you might PM him. Chris Nelson Kansas
