As stated before, I bet it's spectra chrome too. Doing the whole outside of a car in spectra chrome was all the rage in the import scene about 5 years ago. Ugly as **** in my opinion.

I couldn't do that to a nice truck even if I DID own a chrome shop. That is taking the "if it don't go...chrome it" saying to an asinine level!

Looks middle eastern.. something you'd see in India.. you know those taxi's all dolled up. Not my style but I appreciate his dedication to his truck.. he obviously loves it... and that's cool.

Definitely not for me, but then I don't even like chrome fenders on motorcycles. To each his own I guess. I'd hate to take care of it, that's for sure.

I like it. As said before, it reminds me of those chrome Hot Wheels cars. How about a full chrome 57 Chevy or a '40 Ford?

I think removing the diamond plated extended board on the back, lowered w/ diffrent tires and minus flames it could be decent.

doesn't look good at all to me.

  23. Wrong on the Chrome paint! that was my first thought too. I'm surprised that I've never seen it before, I would remember.

I don't think we have to worry about this becoming a fad. but it is different. and old too.

    That's a right on statement!
Drove big rigs in the '60s, and chrome was like hash marks on a sailor!

I had a pair of chrome running boards for my F100, but never had the 'br***' to put 'em on. (same with the aluminum step plates...can't bring myself to drill the black running boards!

  27. Its a '60s show car thing I think. Chrome everything, I saw a show car at the Cow Palace that looked like it was all chrome when I was about 6 or 7.

  29. I really hope I dont offend any of the thin skinned fellows here but since this was posted and people DO respond either for or against I would have to say that I think it looks like the tin man from The Wizard Of Oz only the owner is the one who needs a brain (not a heart).

Interesting, that's for sure. I wonder how much chrome polish he goes through in a year? Also, I think that's the first time I've seen the p***enger side rear fender with the spare tire relief. I'm guessing it was custom made when the '56 was customized. As for the 430 Lincoln, it goes well with the overall theme of the truck. At least its not another boring *** 350 sbc.
