    :)

I have been trying to contact you about buying 4 wheels. The number listed on your web page (1-559-322-2128 ) is OUT of service.

Please PM me a GOOD contact phone number and a good time to call.

    Thanks

I PM'ed him a week ago with a question about powder coating cost on some of his wheels and got no response.
Maybe he is on vacation or really busy I don't know.

good luck...I tried getting in touch with him to get four wheels, tires, trim rings and hubcaps and I got no response....so...I spent $1400 elsewhere...
I don't have weeks and weeks to try to get ahold of someone when there are other places that want my money....I was trying to do a fellow HAMBer a favor, but got zero

It took me a while to get a hold of him last time I had a question about a pair of smoothies. I need to order some wheels soon; I hope he'll be around.

Tried this even a year or so ago..weeks went on to months..i spent my money with a fellow HAMBer instead.

ended up with the wheels that are on my build now and couldnt be happier
got to pay attention to your customers..or they will jump ship quick, e-mail..phone numbers..Pm's if those are your ways of being contacted.you should be keeping up on that
or have someone in your outfit handle it, so when your "buisy" or gone..the ship dont sink

all i will say at this point..i will never let them waste my time again...wheels aint rocket surgery

    my 2 cents

I ordered some wheel adapters in April and Jimmy said they didn't have any yet but would have them very soon. I said no problem, I'll wait.

Out of the blue in late September they showed up without warning...5 months after I ordered them and was told "soon." I'd forgotten that I actually ordered them since it had been so long. My fault....

So I called to see if I could return them....talked to Jimmy, he said "uh....I guess so...."

So I sent them back. They've had them back in their possession since 09/27 and I have yet to get a refund, a phone call or any PM's returned from Jimmy.

    Where you at man?

well, after reading this and all the others, I have no choice but to say that this guy is "out of business" or doing his damned to be so.
What a shame when everyone else in business today is struggling and here's a company that doesn't need or even care about our money.

Again, I don't know the guy, but I thought it would be the "right" thing to do to give him a call........ouch!

I've had a great, very quick experience with Rally America in the past, but I dealt with Gary.

Both times I've dealt with Jimmy, I've had problems.

This doesn't sound good, especially since his products and service always got high marks around here. I had been contiplating calling him about a special set of rear wheels I'm going to need. Hope he comes on and lets us know he's just swamped with work and NOT disappearing.

He took forever to get my two Chrome original wheels done and shipped. He missed every deadline that I had given him. I think it took 6 weeks to get my wheels. But damn, when they did come they were amazing looking. From what I heard a lot of time when it takes a good while for him to deliver it was due to his Chromer dicking him around. He can only give us great prices because his chrome shop doesn't put him as a priority.

Now there's really no reason for bad customer service though. I understand some people might not be good at the whole phone thing but damn get your mom or your cousin to return the phone calls every other day and we'd be happy.

WOW ... I too had planned to spent the ca$h with a HAMB guy ... but this has made me leary. I have no problem with a 2-3 week wait ( I know he cannot keep EVERYTHING in stock already made up ) ... but this information concerns me.

Maybe I need to find another source.

What sucks is I don't think anybody can touch his quality. The Wheel Vintiques and Stockton wheels couldn't hold a candle to his stuff. His chrome steelies look like heaven and all the other look cheap to me. Maybe it's just me but the wheels he made for my old roadster were glorious. I would chrome my own before I bought from somewhere else.

My problem is that most of the wheel guys do not sell the wheels with the small slots ( like original Ford wheels ).

I need some 5X15 for the front and some 7X15 for the rear of my old shop truck project build. I already have a set of the correct/original Mercury M-47 hubcaps ... for the truck and I am determined to use them. I like the little slots ...

Sent a pm about wheels last year.. He PMed me back to call him because he didn't have time to answer PMs. (?) When I called about 18 inch wheels he was rude and told me to go look in the junkyard. Could of saved my dime if he would of said that in the first place. I won't be back.

I've delt with Jimmy a few times and never had any problems. He pressed the centers, adjusted the backspacing (to make up for lack of measuring skills) picked up, welded and returned the rear wheels on my Comet in less than twelve hours.

I've had good luck in the past two years with Jim, I have ordered two sets of Jenny Wheels, I spoke with him two weeks ago and again yesterday so I know he is around. I don't know him at all other then ordring wheels and getting what I ordered.

I have bought from Jimmy and Gary and never had any issues.
He is still in business. He had a stand at the swap meet at the hot rod reunion.

Doesn't Wheel Vintiques have the original type wheels as pictured? Seems like I have seen them in Drakes catalog also. How about Dick Spadaro?

If anyone would like to talk to me I can be reached at 559-322-2128. I'm the only one answering the phone, so you might have to try more than once.

I am gonna go with the "good experience" crew here; I called and got right through, placed my order. They estimated a time that they'd arrive, and they showed up within the estimated time. Thanks Wheelkid!

    I agree with Coby,

I called Jimmy a month ago, ordered some custom steel wheels and had them in 3 weeks. They were real nice.

I ordered 4 used from him and he had 3, met me on the road that day and I took possession. Waiting for word on the 4th but so far he has done what he said he'd do. Seems okay with me.

    Let me know wassup wheelkid.
    Thanks.
