Has anyone tried this sound reduction product? I have just re-read the main sound dampening thread but most of the info and comments are at least a couple of years old. A lot of newer products out there now. http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_24&products_id=786
I used it about a 2 years ago, did the floor of a 1970 Monte Carlo and I liked it seemed to work pretty good, but I then tried "FatMat" it was a little bit cheaper and looked a little nicer had a nice blue logo on the material..I've since used that on 2 cars and worked great and was very happy with it...if you look at it, it looks exactly like Dynomat...they have both FatMat and eDead on ebay for sale all the time for good prices
Haven't used it but have used Dynamatt. Its spendy.... works good but so does going to a Menard's or a Home Depot and getting some water barrier for basements. Same thing no fancy foil.
I'm going to try some duct insulation from Home Depot. It's 1/8 inch thick flexible foam with fairly heavy foil on one side. It is self-adhesive, but I think it will need a 'boost' of some spray-on adhesive. I was $16 bucks for 15 square ft. If you really want to go cheap, find some foam-backed pieces of carpet. I laid some of that temporarily and seems to work great.
