Is anyone coming to the SW Nats in Oklahoma City in April? We're having a Poker Run in our thriving metropolis of Mustang , that Sat night. Root
Chris, Ryan told me not to use the "N" word any more. (N--A) Root, my brother-in-law will be attending FAA training in Ok City on those dates. We will be visiting him on those dates. I am going to sign up to go, but won't be bringing the henry-j. I'll contact you when I get back home in March. (In Ft. Lauderdale till March something) I want to see that new garage. Later, Tommy Mc
OK, you guys GOTTA come out. This is the first time we have ever done the Poker Run in conjunction with the Mini Nats. We usually run around 100 local cars each month. This is our 7th year to be hosting poker runs each month. Should be able to swing a band for afterwards. Tommy, come by anytime. I'll throw out a fresh piece of plywood for ya to walk on.......I'm still saving for my concrete drive.
I wanted to but I'm not sure I'm going to get my bell, clutch and transmission all sorted out by then. :-(
I might be able to drag my POS merc over there. Send me some mo info. You gunna be at coits, it's coming up really quick.
Hmmm, this sounds kinda cool. I wasn't plannin on the OKC Nats, but the Poker Run sounds cool. Do you have to be registered for the N--A gig to participate ing the Poker Run? For that matter, does it have to be a pre-49 vehicle? Give us some more info... time/location/etc. I'd like to see if I can make plans.
No man...this is put on by an imaginary cc called the Geeks and Geezers....if you fall into either category, you're automatically a member.
Hey Root, I grew up in Yukon (Even worked for Parr for a couple of years back in the late 80's early 90's.) and will be down for the SW Nats. Will be working the House of Kolor booth but we are coming a few days early I think and will be staying in Yukon with my folks. Toad32 Carter www.virtuwheel.com/demo - software demo
Yep, little Hayden Carter showed up on Feb 3rd... you pick a color yet? The deal still stands if you want. Thanks for asking on the kiddo. Man, It's gonna be a BUSY SUMMER this year. Carter
Congrats on the kiddo! Yes, a PPG color was just picked about 2 weeks ago. I really, really apprecaited your offer BUT I think the color I picked will suit the style/direction I'm taking Big Olds better. Got a connection at PPG by any chance??? xoxoxoxox
Here's the skinny....... April 16th at 7:00 p.m. you can get your Poker hands at the All Season Lumber Yard on HWY 152. This is where we always start from. If ya need to map it. Mustang's only 6 miles x 2 miles. Shouldn't be too hard to find..... Toad, I may know ya then. I grew up running with Steve Parr. Spent many days at the Parr counter.
JK, you gotta drag that mofo out.....bring your non-social cronies too. Nate gets married and he's all responsible and stuff.....
RC, Spread the word. We are gonna hand out flyers to all of the participants that stop by the OHRA booth. They are'nt really affiliated but they said they would hand out the flyers for us. That way all the local retard rednecks won't get wind of it.....you know the Meridian Ave. crowd. The OHRA booth is the one that hands out free water and coffee in front of the vendors building.
BTTT, I'll be out there Friday handing out flyers for those that wanna come to the Poker Run Sat night. I'll be wearing an OKC Eliminators Tshirt....
I havent gone to an NSRA "event" in some years. Now, having gone to the Lone Star Roundup I dont think i can ever go to any other show again. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who the hell is Cooter Brown?
I am headed that way at daylight in the morning. Should be 4 of us in the fast lane headed west. Hope to see you on the fairgrounds before noon.
Well whatdaya know. I'm gonna be single this weekend. I'll go get my girlfriend Nate and try to drag his *** and my Merc out there and see which one complains more.
