Need Edlebrock flathead head ID help!!!

    looking at a set of 49-53 edelbrock script heads each head is stamped "F 75 M 8" im guessing that they might be for pomression but not sure.... any help would be great thanks!

    You win the rubber chicken !!! That is what those stampings mean. Those number are figured on a a stock unmodified block.

    Compression ratio figgured on stock Ford or Merc. displacement .

    so anywhere from 7.5-8? that does not seem right...

    M = Merc 8:1
