Got an old Mallory distributor hoping it fits my Cleveland. Tag shows Model YL and Type 445 E2. On the shaft it shows L445. Small block ford?
Windsor and Cleveland use the same distributor, but the gear is different, and I can't see the gear in photo to tell you which one it is.
As for ford distributor. The 289 and 302 are the same. The 351 W has a dist. all it owns. The 351 C and the 429 and 460 are the same. The one you have there, it looks to be SBF. But I could be wrong. That distributor was used a lot for blower motors and marine motors.
Make sure it is not a reverse rotation dizzy, the easiest way to tell is to compare the slant on the gears, the reverse rotator will have the slant going the opposite way of a conventional rotation dizzy gear.
