  2. It probably is. I'm not into boats, but I really don't know of another stadium in Annapolis. It's where the Naval Academy plays its football games and they do use it for parking at other big events. You can get to it off of RT. 50 if you take Rowe Blvd, where you can actually see the stadium from the road. Once you cross over the water, the first light is Farragut and the second is Taylor Ave. If you go right on Taylor, the stadium will be on your right.

  3. Shuttle is a great idea.

I'm in! First time. Can anyone give me an idea of the agenda? Never been to this event and am trying to get a feel for the mood of the day :)

  7. Well, for coming from another state, you're pretty close. The gates open at 8 a.m. We anticipate over 250 of the koolest 1962 and earlier hot rods, customs, etc., in the outside lot. Inside, we have about 40 more that were invited. There are food vendors on the lot as well as swap meet vendors. We have a DJ playin' your favs. There's T-shirts, posters, and other goodies available at the big tent by the spectator gate. There's a number of well-known pinstripers who will engage in a panel jam. There will be a live auction at 1 p.m. of many great items including those done by the pinstripers/artists. Special awards will be handed out at 4 p.m. The show cars from the Armory floor will begin pulling out at 5 p.m. Besides ogling some of the best traditional rods and customs on the East Coast, you'll get to meet the fine folks that brought them. A good time will be had by all. Have a safe trip and be especially careful on that Baltimore Beltway. There's construction on the straight stretch after the Northwest Expressway (795), exit 19 I think it is, and they have speed cameras set up there as well.

  8. I'll be there bright and early in my Thunderbird, lookin forward to it. :D

  9. Oh man, this is like the night before Christmas. Up outta bed at 4:15am, meetin' DRuss and the others at 5:30am at the diner, see you guys in Annapolis before 9. Can't wait. Been looking forward to it all year.

Murph, no one in the Maryland group seemed to be excited about doing it so it went by the way side. Last year we were across from the main entrance at junior Kelley's vendor spot.

HAMBer's MEET & GREET at 12:45 in front of the DJ's stage, just before a MAJOR DOOR PRIZE DRAWING! Plus the "live" auction starts at 1 o'clock.
Hey NITROFC how'd you slip in past me, grrrrr! Great sneak peak photos though.
HINT: Correct money ($12 per person) would make things move faster at the gate.
    See you'all there,
    J'Mike
