If you do chop it, consider a very minimal chop. Often when it's subtle, you don't necessarily consiously know it's been chopped but you can still achieve an asthetic improvement. Less is more.

I like them subtly chopped, especially if its lowered.

Chop of 1 - 2" maximum, and then only if lowered. Otherwise, they have good "trucky" proportions as is

I took 6" outta mine, and channeled the body 4". I didn't section it at all, but gimme a couple minutes and lemme dig up a photo for you to see if that's what you want....

side note: any chops beyond, say 2" is a serious undertaking, that could be why some people choose not to do it. There may be a different way around it, but when I did it (about a month and a half back) I quartered the roof. It went pretty smoothly for me (I had the help of a friend and his dad) but I've seen them not go as well. It depends on what you plan on doing though with the final product. 6" out of it, and i've still got plenty of head room, although my line of sight through the windshield has been affected.

*** Sometimes the thumbnails dont come up, so I numbered them. If you see a # and no pic, hit reresh

I chopped mine 2 1/4 in the front and 2 1/2 in the rear. Takes that 'hump' out of the back of the roof.

B-Bob's truck looks just right. Just chopped enough to slick it out without making it look smashed. Good looking truck all around.

Trucks should not be chopped. Except those IH trucks.. Those look retarded without a chop.
