My son and I went up to SA today for the Nostalgic Drags put on by the Texas Timing ***ociation. It was a great way to spend the day. Here are a few pics.
Few more, I'm sure some other HAMBs came out, there were tons of people. One of these altereds had gone 3.99 sec before we left. YES 3.99 sec. he was the 14th, excuse me, she was the 14th person to go 3 sec. at that track. Unbelievable.
It was great day. Mary Reep went 3.98 (she became the 12th member of the OFAA 3 second club), the OFAA final round times were a loosing 3.91, to a hole shot 3.95! A good friend of mine won the MHR/E (12.60 index cl***), and he also won the bracket cl*** in his 69 Nova (the same car). I shot a lot of video, so I should get them up in a couple of days. I'm all ready looking forward to next years TTA race. Great pics Aman
Thanks for posting the pics. Wife was in the hospital so I had bed side duty but next year we both will be there.Nothing beats the old school cars and It also reminded me of the great time at Temple Academy and the DOD.
Thanx for the hip photos, the MoPar coupe gone ragtop with the Big Boy Blown mill is off the hook. The whole day looks like it was a blast. Ray With, healing vibes out to your lady. Congrats to the cool gal that is in the 3 sec club, WOW! ~Sololobo~
