It would help Dan out if everyone planning on attending would post. I'm coming up with 1 guy. Marty isn't a HAMB member, but he runs a restoration shop called Straightlines.

I'm bringing my coupster, and hoping to get a decklid built for it.

I'll be bringing my e-wheel set up with a tipping wheel, my bead roller, pullmax dies, and a variety of ***orted tools and stuff. I'll bring a '36 ford rear fender buck to keep Marty going too.

210Sedan, a metalmeet is a group of people who get together to help each other with their metalworking projects. you can find more out here www.metalmeet.com You don't need to be an expert or have lots of tools, just and open mind and a good heart! tt

It is always a pleasure to have people down with the enthusiasm the likes of you and Stacie. You have earned the right to come down any time with a project we can all work on as I know it would involve you doing and learning rather than just standing around watching. We will be hosting another event in the spring and will be looking forward to seeing you with a new project to show and work on.

I had a blast!! I met some new freinds, made some peices for my decklid, and learned a few new tricks. I might start buying lotto tickits now after running the Ekold!! That machine is like cast iron ******!!

I didn't get much done though. By the end of the weekend Dan's name was "Hey Dan" and mine was "Hey Jeff". It's a cool thing to see so many people together willing to help each other out. I just slept 12 hours...

your supposed to use a flash if the lights aren't on.....:p Heck I was beginning to think Dan was an Amish metalshaper:confused: Joel asked when the next meet was and I told him this weekend.... he changed his mind. He does want to go to Nebraska, Pat and Chris were working with him on on W/O p/u. he heard the stories of all this vintage tin out there..... so maybe if we do something out that way, heck we are getting close to you;) we could pay you a visit!

Terry we were talking about having a meet at my shop. I plan on having one but have no idea on a date. Maybe late spring after Dan's. It would be nice to attend a meet and not have to haul:) Of co**** I know it's more work in the end to host....

I hope you do visit if you get close.
