Hello,
I'm from Ofallon, IL which is about 15 minutes from Belleville. Just search for St. Louis Hamb members, there are quite a few of us on here. A couple times a year there is an automotive swap meet at the Belle Claire Fairgrounds on the south end of Belleville. There is also a large swap in Waterloo once a year and one at the Grizzley's stadium believe. Usually there's quite a few weekly meets around the area, Dandy Inn is one that comes to mind. Chuck a Burger in St. Charles MO is also a popular spot to meet.

Welcome to the midwest. Recently the city of Belleville had a downtown car showthat was well attended. The Fat Boys of Ill. are in the area,as are the Gear Jammers[older guys with a long active history since the 50s. The radius rods in Pocahantas put on a great free event every fall.With St Louis so close there is more to do than you can keep up with. There is a website listing events,but I cant remember the name,someone else surely will share.

 

Nice Cruise-In every third Saturday at Culver's on 157 in Collinsville. Just a few blocks North of 55. Usually draws a pretty good crowd and a wide variety of cars.

One of the other big cruises not mentioned is the Fenton cruise, first fri of month . I think march to Oct so it over for season but draws over 500 pre 79 vehicles.
With central location here it's easy to hit swaps /shows in Indy, Chicago, Nashville, Louisville. Our local track may be closing though .

Upchuck in St.CHarles has been closed for a while now. Ryan is running the one on the rock road still , not sure how much longer it will last with all the new fast food joints popping in st.john now

Wow Belleville Il. I was born in that town! Just about everyone on Taft st. was my relation lived in Waterloo also. Out here in Kansas now.

Ahhhhh Godd ol' Bella Vegas!! I am quite familiar with that part of town. One of our owners lives in nearby Fairmont ****ty IL....We love goin to the Culvers out near you. Big night show/hangout.

Our shop is located in Webster Groves in St Louis Co. Hit me up if ya want to get together or hang out. We will have quite a few drive-in movies here at the shop with our new outdoor screen and video equipment. I will keep you posted on the upcoming dates. We showed Christene and Young Frankenstien this past weekend as a double feature. It was BAD***!
