Mopar part ID please, hemi?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 4t64rd, Feb 14, 2005.

  1. I was told it was the stock plate that goes between the trans and the block for a 392. Then again, everybody with a hemi part is going to say it's for a 392... if not a 426.

I know for sure it's not for an early Desoto hemi.

Can anybody positively ID it? if not, then it will become the worlds most uncomfortable toilet seat.:D

Adaptor plates fit all short-tail hemis. If it won't fit the Desoto itshouldn't fit a 392 either.

  4. I was given this thing by a guy with a 271 Desoto that said he didn't need it (he is putting a 727 behind it), I only ***umed that's why he gave it to me.

I got one of those off a 54 Chrysler Windsor with a 331 in it. Used it for a patern for the 350 turbo behind my Hemi in the Coupe.

It has the same bolt pattern as the one that was on my 330 Desoto hemi.
