So I downloaded the free 30 day photoshop, It makes your guys' work even more impressive! I cant even begin to understand it! whoa!

 

Can someone Please shop my comet gloss black with a gold top along with the wings gold?

Kind of a tough pic to start with since it was fuzzy. Hopefully this is close to what you want.

 

yea dude! thats what I was looking for, great work this stuff is like rocket science to me haha. not sure if I should paint the wings cause it might look cluttered, but I would like that "slicked back" type of look. any other suggestions from you's guys?

Which kind of Watson lines - he had several distinct styles? FInd me an example.

And my monitor doesn´t really like green. You want bright or dark or what?
(Bright green can be a bit of a disaster...!)

 

i would like lines like he did on his 58 t bird.do whatever green you think would look best.lines in gold?

This is what I´d do. I think three coloured paint is way too much, and a dark colour will get the chrome to pop. The black cherry is a great colour - Larry knew what was up. I added lakes pipes too (from a photo of Watsons T Bird no less!)

I think you're pretty much on the right track so far! Somebody elae may have to come up with some grille ideas for it.

At first I was thinking along the lines of some vertical grille bars from an early 50s Buick or DeSoto. But looking back at the original setup, the front end of this truck owes a lot to mid 50s Cadillac styling, especially the bumper bullets and shrouded headlights. Maybe a Caddy style grille texture would work, if it didn't look too "delicate".

Filling the opening in the front of the hood really smooths things out, but I always thought this was a nice, distinctive touch on the front of these trucks. Maybe just a chrome bezel around the opening without the GMC emblem? Or maybe mount some kind of "cyclops" driving light in there.

 

I saw a green camaro today and it made me wonder about this color scheme.

On my truck can you turn the orange into suede black with the white highlight being synergy green.

and then do one reversed so the truck is green and the white high light is suede black.

And if you feel up to it maybe one where the orange is a root beer brown and the white stays the same.
