Would anyone have suggestions for removing the side moldings? I've searched and read several other posts about safely removing body moldings but none seemed to be conclusive. Outside of removing the nuts, what's the best approach for the clips? Would a nylon pry-tool be beneficial? Clip 'B' is where I'm not certain of the approach to take.

The clips suffer from rust and will be unusable a second time, at least mine where. Get nuts undone on the ends of the strips and use a plastic spatula, or else pop em from inside the door with a screw driver. Thats how i did mine, all the clips are avail new but remember to put corking compound behind em on reinstalling or they rattle like mad.

Thanks for the tips, especially the cork compound. I'll be back after them this weekend.

    Texoutsider,

I'll be putting it back on but I will certainly keep on the lookout for some affordable trim pieces for you. I need to drop by your shop and introduce myself/say hello since you're just down the road.
