I had to google it and do a bit of studying. The big rub that I see is that you can only get the car up high enough to scoot around under it on a low stool and cannot stand up under it. It would be great for tire and brake work in most cases but unless you have a very low ceiling in your garage I'd go for a lift that you can use to stand up when working under the car. For the same price or less I think you can find a used quality commercial two post lift that might just be a bit more secure to use and you would have full height lift to work under.
Man, i love my Maxjax. It is much easier on your back to work under a car while sitting on a roll-about mechanics stool than standing up. I just finished welding a new floorpan in my '88 Jeep Wrangler, and it was much easier getting to weld underneath with it on the lift, rather than on your back with fire raining down on your face. In the garage was no option for me, I have no room due to all my junk, so mine is mounted in the driveway in front of the garage. I routinely do all kinds of **** underneath my cars that i wouldn't have attempted without it.
