    Hello Out There, First Let Me Say I'm Glad To Be A Part Of This Here Shindig...now For A Little East Coast History Lesson. If I Did This Right You Should Be Able To See The Pictures If Not Im Sorry. This Here Car A 1949 Chevy Has Been In My Family For 50 Years. Thats Right This Old Girl Was My Fathers First Ride, And They Have Been Together And All Over From Boot Camp In Kentucky, To Niagra Falls For His Honeymoon, With Mom Of Course, To Gracing The Cover Of Custom Rodder May 1962. All The Work Has Been Done By Him, Joseph Serino Jr. And She Has Had Several Face Lifts Before Leaving Her As You See From 1962. What A Time Machine Hey? Running A 348 B/b With Trips Of Course, Yeah She Still Gets To Kick Some Asphault, Including Going To The New York Rumblers Show Every Year...well Its Been A Pleasure Talking, So If Anyone Out There Remembers Her Drop A Line Dad Would Love To Hear From You. See Ya Lata From Serinos Hot Rods Est. 1935 In Long Island City, New York............

    Seriously though, Cool car. I love building cars, but something with some actual history is like icing on the cake to me. I found this hunk while I was in school and always wondered what is was like when it was first built, and who built it. Lucky for you, you know what yours looked like in the past.

    Alot of work in that car. Its good you have kept it up and on the road. I love seeing history like that. I hope my kids keep the cars we build. Again great car.

For every one who does not know this guy,He is from the famous Serino Automotive in Long Island City ,New York.This place is an institution of New York City Hot Rodding and customizing.Everything from chopped shoeboxes to channeled hot rods. If that doesnt impress you,you should see the work that their pinstriper does!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    THANKS GLAD YOU LIKED IT, I GOT SOMETHING LIKE YOUR CAR AT MY SHOP NOW, SAME THING ITS AN OLD GASSER OR CIRCLE TRACK RACER FROM NEBRASKA DONT KNOW THE HISTORY, BUT ITS "SCRAPPING" THE GROUND NOW...LATA CUZ :cool:

    With the type of roads or should I say potholes we have in New York City that could be as low as it gets. You need a 4x4 to cruise down Madison Avenue, LOL!

    CHECK THIS DOUBLE NICKEL WE TURNED OUT AT SERINO'S FOR MY BOY JEFF. THIS IS ONE BAD OLD SKOOL RIDE. WE DROVE HER UP TO LAKE GEORGE FOR THE NATIONALS WITH OUT A HITCH. HEY DO YOU KNOW THE GUYS NAME WHO STRIPPED THIS BAD ASS DOUBLE NICKEL? WE NEED TO GET SOME MORE LINES DONE ON HER. SHES FEELIN KINDA NAKED...LOL THE STORY GOES ON....

    Nada. Getting shit ready for this HAMB meet in May. Merc is in Bloomfield now. I'll probably need to stop by the shop soon anyway for a new inspection sticker. What else do you have brewing in the shop? Post some pics of that '46 Hudson PU of yours, have you done any more work to it?

    HEY JOE WE HAD A 30 "A" SEDAN LOST 7 INCHES IN THE ROOF LIKE WILLYS AND SOLD IT, GOT A 39 CHEVY TO CHOP NEXT, AND WORKING ON THE 51 SHOEBOX SHE LOST 5 INCHES AND IS GOING TO RUN HER ORIGINAL FLATTY. THE HUDSON IS SNOWED IN AT THE TIME. WAS ANYWAY. I TRIED TO POST SOME PICS BUT IT KEEPS TELLING ME THERE TO LARGE? I'LL TRY AGAIN ANOTHER TIME. COME IN WHEN EVER YOU WANT FOR THE INSPECTION.
