Looking for somewhere that sells new the 3/4 length blank "fingertip" car club style jackets. Like the ones Lions Dragstrip used to give to class winners, or the ones the Salt Lake Throttlers have. Looking for red or maroon.

best bet-- get a hold of one of the Throttlers...i know that SLC has a place somewhere Downtown...i am not sure if that IS where they got theirs, but's it's called L&M (or something like)-- now from what i know about this place, they only sell to people with accounts, but hey, maybe a fellow HAMBer can hook you up...

I bought a real nice one at Costco in November, dark blue with tan leather sleeves. They also had them in black on black. I believe that the price was around $70...I thought that it was a real good buy.

All the coolest guys wear satin jackets. Tellow, puprple and pink seem to be the favorites of the hardcore car club guys....

    Club jackets are traditional.

But I'm still not sure how big my pants cuffs should be. :)

I suprised some folks don't know what 3/4 length jackets look like, the shifters and the throttlers have had em' for years now. I looked for a picture of a newer club thats sporting them but I couldn't find any. This one was just on ebay for a ton of money...course its a piece of history. I checked out the greenspans website, I like the ones they got...they look period correct. They look the best when they've got the full collar. Johnny

what does the 3/4 refer to? the arm lengths seem 9/10's to me. 3/4 mile track?

  27. Any embroidery shop can get you DeLong jackets. Name Your Game in Signal Hill has someone who can do the old style stacked chenniel. Not sure how that'd be spelled. Anyhoot, they're good people, they won't let your design go to anyone else and the prices are competitive. Check out the Vipers patch on their wall to see what I mean. Or see or jackets at the March Meet, we'll be there with our AA/Food Coupe. And visiting Gaynors pit where the 15oz Coupe will be parked.

    Hope this helps.

I'm suprised some folks don't know what 3/4 length jackets are. There aren't waist length and they aren't FULL length. There are 3/4 length.
