Don't know a damn thing about it, except for what the previous owner told me, which is that it's a mid to late sixties unit that was on a big block Mopar Drag car that was wrecked. Well, what he actually said was that it was on a "factory race car" like one of the Chrysler owned/sponsored A-bodies running a big block, but as to that, seems like a bit of a tall tail. No matter though.

What i do know is that it's a free spinning fairly complete set up for a big block, 440 (and i ***ume 413/426?) that's only missing the belt and the crank pulley.

The numbers on it read:SN-80-9821222-*-M 042472-091472-122972
-The * is because i can't read that number; there's a scratch that makes it hard to decipher.

Any other info/knowledge would be appreciated....Actually I'm just geeked to get it so i thought I'd share! I don't really know what to do with it, as the only big block mopar i have right now is an Imperial coupe, that doesn't really need a supercharger....but it was too cool to p*** up! :D

Here's it is when i got it (all the tubes and hardware are there, just not pictured):

And after a quick clean up:

Looks like the blower used by Mr Norm on the Demon GSS 340's

LOL it sounds as absurd as it does awesome! That ol' beast could use a bit of pick me up... I'd be lying through my teeth if i said the thought hasn't crossed my mind...more than once. :)

I think it's be kinda cool if i made it look like it belongs and fab up a stock looking air cleaner with a snorkel to the supercharger, like somehow it was an option...haha

That definitely looks like the same blower as the GSS's though my intake is a little different. GPSFlyer, do you have any other pictures or close ups of that setup? I tried googling those dusters and didn't come up with much.

Paxton and McCulloch were the same company. Yours has the McCulloch shape but is a Paxton? Check out THE AUTHORITY on ALL of them, its a guy in England under VS 57.com He also covers the VR57s (Paxtons) on his site

They all have a similar shape. Even Paxtons today have a very similar look to the original design, though todays look more like big belt driven turbos... which i guess makes sense.

The major difference (in look at least) between mine, and an older McCulloch model is that the snout section (where those gnarly cast badges sit in the old kaiser/stude/tbird McCullochs is longer)

Jeff some good info in your thread, thanks!
And T.kitchen, i'll make sure to check out that dudes site as well.

Also, you prob know, but there's a Centrifical Supercharger Group here on the HAMB which looks to have some info and knowledgable people as well.

    thanks guys!
