Getting older and been kind of sick lately, so the long trips on the bikes hurt a lot more, so I've been spending more time on my first love (don't tell the bikers this ).............old hotrods and just vintage vehicles. 56 years old, get more contrary and groucher everyday. Don't seem to let things and people get to me nearly as bad as I did a few years a go, but when they do I'm still young enough to plot on someone and retaliate on those who do me wrong. I treat people the way I want to be treated. I have 1955 Chevy Truck (327, 350) that is always under construction, I drive this vehicle daily unless on my bike. I just bought a 64 Dodge Dart (slant 6, push button auto) to drive to save a little gas money. I hate having to be politically correct to get a long, so I would just as soon stay home with my family and wrench on stuff or dream of long rides out west, either on a bike or in one of my rides. I would love to be able to drive from here to Viva Las Vegas or somewhere similar to that on the small roads, next year in the Dart, to show my wife and girl that kind of lifestyle and cars........"the way it used to be.....".
