Okay...time to say Hey... I'm really not an FNG...I'm pretty active over on the Model A forum, been there since Ryan took over the A board and even before that on the old format...but an FNG on the HAMB board. We own a couple of cars...1965 Shelby Cobra replica...and a '29 Model A Briggs Leatherback...plus Harleys...scooters...you name it. Basically, if it's powered by a gasoline fueled internal combustion engine, it's loud, fast, and you can get killed in it...we'll probably like it at my house...and chances are I've already owned one at one time in our past. I'm an old fart...60+ years...got twin boys, Will and Drew, both 11 years old. I'm doin' my part to continue the hobby with them...they both love old cars, hot rods, custom motorcycles...just like their ol' man. We go racin' together...they love it. We're all up into NASCAR, too...but we do our best to keep our red neck hidden from the rest of the world. Tryin' to decide if I want to build a rod from our Model A, or sell the A, buy someone elses ride and make modifications. So...I'll be poking around over here on the HAMB. Stop by and see me...I'm always good for a cold beer...and sometimes more'n one...you know how hot rodders can be... You don't see what you want...jus' ask...we've probably got it somewhere.
Central Cali...what city...? Dad was in a career Air Force officer...a Navigator. We were stationed at Travis in the late 50's. We lived in Fairfield for a while, and moved when Dad bought his first house in Vacaville. Some of the best times of my life were spent there... My brother lives in Riverside now...not far from the old Riveside sports car track. Lots of racing history around there...
