A while ago someone posted a cheap source for these sheetmetal panel clamps: Was it Harbor Freight? I searched their website, and couldn't come up with anything. Thanks in advance, Matt
Harbor Freight has them cheap, but someone on the HAMB had a how-to making them out of thin wall conduit and a nail.
Thanks for the quick reply. What does HF call them? Could you help me find the conduit & a nail post? Thanks, Matt
I searched for sheet metal clamps and it is about half way down on the first page. See if this works. WELDING, tech, sheetmetal clamps for holding patch panels ( 1 2 View All) manyolcars
Speaking of which, the tang on the ones I got from HF are about .045" thick. That's kinda thick for 18-22 ga sheet metal being migged with a .024" wire, isn't it? I had some problems filling the wide gap and ground down the tangs on a couple of the clamps. Seemed to work better, or am I doing something wrong ???
I made some and I love them. I was going to buy some at Harbor Freight but maybe I will just make some more.
