So my shoe box did what I always dreaded it tommy boy'd up on me and its beyond repair so does any one got pics of shoebox fords runnin no hoods????? Im looking for some inspiration.

alot of people with shoebox's had their hoods fly up....mine flew up, i got another hood, a hoodless shoebox looks bad..
This is one of the things that i've never understand. Model A's,deuces or other that era cars look like pretty cool without the hood. But 40's or 50's cars without the hood,why?
In pretty sure people run em with no hoods because they don't have money to buy a new one like me I make military pay and my car is dope with or without a hood .....I'm gonna get a hood when I get money but a hood ain't stopping me from drivin

Is is an attitude thing? I had that happen in high school. Cruzing down I-35 in a friends mid 50's Buick and WHAM!! Scared the @%&!! outa us! Shoebox cars look great with a hood all right. But the "in your face" attitude without a hood is appealing also - especially if the engine is a looker! I plan to run our '49 Ford hoodless - at least temp. Just for a change...
Yea would prob be nicer if I wasn't running a carter dual jet haha its gonna look like shit but ill do something with it to give it a wow affect weather its a good wow or not well have to see
