After all of the help I got from the HAMB and fordbarn.com, I became an alliance member yesterday. I'd been meaning to sign up for a long time, just needed a wake up call.
Man what a web site.....not another one compares to it.

    UPDATE:

The car is in Texas. I'm in Roswell, NM in a rental car. Fred Landis from the fordbarn, hauled the car, my wife and me down from McAlester, OK. He's leaving for AZ, with my car, on Thursday. A loaner engine is waiting for the car to arrive. Should be driving early next week. I should be in Fountain Hills tomorrow afternoon.

What a Bummer. But, on the bright side, at least something else didn't let go, that may have caused an accident, or injury. You can always fix the Flattie. I know it's still a Bummer, but that's the best Pep Talk I could come up with. All the best of luck to you both.

Paul, glad you're making process. How does using a loaner engine work? When do you have to give it back? Just borrowing it while yours is rebuilt? (Inquiring minds want to know :) )

Life's an adventure and this is just another bump in the road! I'm sorry for your trouble (easily could have been me in a Flathead roadster enroute to LA Roadster show last year!) but I'm glad the good people of the HAMB and Fordbarn are helping you out. Phoenix guys are a great group, they'll get you taken care of.

Have a great trip, keep us posted on your progress!

  21. Morning Paul,
Sounds like things are finally coming together. I live just a little South of fountain Hills and have a good friend who is a flathead guru, has been here forever, and always has a few parts. If we can help, Cell 480 363 2267. good Luck, Dave, maybe see you at GG.
